  • Number of poor (people living below the poverty line) in Sulawesi Tenggara in September 2015 was 345.02 thousand people (13.74 percent). Compared with the poor in March 2015 amounted to 321.88 thousand people (12.90 percent), means that the number of poor rose 23.14 thousand people.
  • During the period March 2015 - September 2015, the poor in rural areas increased 18.43 thousand people, while in urban areas increased 4.71 thousand people.
  • The percentage of poor population between urban and rural areas a slight increase. In September 2015, the percentage of poor in urban areas 7.84 percent, an increase of 0.60 points against March 2015 (7.24 percent). While in rural areas in September 2015 the percentage of poor people increased by 16.12 percent to 0.93 points in March 2015 (15.19 percent).
  • During March 2015 - September 2015, poverty line rose by 4.64 percent, from Rp. 257 533, - per capita per month in March 2015 to Rp. 269 ​​516, - per capita per month in September 2015.
  • In the period March 2015 - September 2015, Poverty Depth Index (P1) and Poverty Severity Index (P2) shows a declining trend. This indicates that the average expenditure of the poor tend to be closer to the poverty line and inequality of the expenditure of the poor are also getting smaller.
