  • Sulawesi Tenggara NTP index in December 2015 recorded 101.01 or an increase of 0.36 percent over the previous month was recorded at 100.64. NTP index each subsector recorded as follows: food crops subsector (NTPP) 95.41; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 95.02; Smallholder Crop Subsector (NTPR) 103.74; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 105.09 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 105.87. While the National NTP index of 102.83, down by 0.11 percent from the previous 102.95.
  • In December 2015, the national 12 provinces increased NTP index, while 21 other provinces experienced a decline in the index. The highest increase was recorded in the province of North Sumatra that is equal to 1.09 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Bangka Belitung 0.98 percent.
  • In December 2015, Sulawesi Tenggara Province recorded a rural inflation by 0.71 percent. This occurs due to the increase in the price index in all groups namely: foodstuff by 1.16 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco rose 0.47 percent; housing 0.15 percent; clothing 0.33 percent; health 0.07 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.10 percent; as well as transportation and communication rose by 0.54 percent.
